Are you thinking of buying a home in today's market?  Here are some tips on the process of buying a home.  The main thing is to work with a licensed Realtor.

  •  First is Location, Location, Location!  Narrow your search to one or two neighborhoods that best fit your needs.  For example, schools, proximity to work, medical care, and other things that are important to be close by.  You can start searching in these communities on my FREE website.

  • Next, get Pre-Approved by a local bank or mortgage company .  Always shop around for a mortgage lender to get your best rates and to see if you can qualify for different loan programs available in your area.  As a experienced Realtor, I can help get you connected with one of our Preferred Lenders who will walk you through the mortgage process.  Getting Pre-Approved lets you know how much you can afford and gives you a price range to start house hunting. You should always tell your lender what monthly payment you are comfortable with.  You may qualify for more than you want to pay monthly!

  • Once you are Pre-Approved, it's time to get together with your Realtor for a tour of homes!
